An article which encourages thinking. (or) I’m dying to think!

As a spiritual teacher, I wonder why the "other side" must remain such a mystery. Of course, the obvious answer is that if we had awareness during life on earth of the life of the soul, we wouldn't concentrate on, nor give our all to, our existence here. And so, we would not learn the lessons we are meant to learn.

Yet, this explanation begs the question, why must, and how can, we learn in ignorance of our true nature? And, of what value are life lessons learned in a form which doesn't match our soul's power and vision?

We are made of, made from, and made with Love.

Love is ever evolving.

And so, we ever evolve.

While it does make sense that we might review our just completed existence as we make our transition back home, why must we forget our true nature when we begin our existence on Earth?

Finally, while you, Robert, speak about brain wave activity continuing after "death" -- or after heart stoppage -- wouldn't it make more sense to conclude that our soul is making our brain function so as to deliver us back home with a boost which considers our just completed experience, rather than using brain wave activity measurement to conclude the brain is initiating the process?

Ah, but that would mean we'd have to measure the activity of the soul.

And, science seems light years away from being able to get anywhere near achieving this all important, all-encompassing feat.
